Wing:

Wire braced biplane, with equal span and no stagger. Folding wings. Upper wings attached directly to centre section above fuselage. Lower wings attached directly to fuselage. Normal two spar wooden construction, with fabric covering. Ailerons are on lower planes only

Fuselage:

Rectangular in cross section, with rounded decking and tapering to vertical edge at tail. Wooden construction, covered with fabric

Tail Unit:

Normal monoplane type, with fixed tail plane, strut braced to fuselage. Horn balanced rudder. Wooden construction, fabric covering

Landing Gear:

Divided type. Half axles hinged to apex of steel tube vee below fuselage. Shock absorber legs are hinged to lower longerons. Radius rods which run aft to the llower longerons, are attached to the bearing collars on the shock absorber legs. Tailwheel hinged to rear fuselage

Power Plant:

One 120 hp Gipsy III inverted four cylinder in line air cooled engine

Accommodation:

Pilot sits in open cockpit behind cabin and well aft of trailing edge of lower wing. Cabin between wings, one double seat facing forward and a single seat forward
