Wing:

Equal span, two bay, unstaggered, biplane. Top centre section carried above fuselage on steel tube struts, with two sets of parallel interplane struts on either side of the fuselage. Wings have metal structure covered with fabric

Fuselage:

Steel tube, rectangular section structure, faired to an oval section and covered forward with detachable aluminium panels and aft with fabric

Tail Unit:

Monoplane type. Metal framed, covered with fabric. Balanced rudder and elevators

Landing Gear:

Cross axle vee type. Oleo leg and radius rod attached to fuselage lower longeron. Tail skid

Power Plant:

One 525 hp Armstrong Siddeley Panther IIA in nose

Accommodation:

Pilots seat under cut-out in trailing edge of top wing, with cockpit for gunner immediately behind

Armament:

One fixed Vickers gun firing forward and one Lewis gun over back cockpit. 500 lb of bombs carried under wings
